In trading on Monday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.5%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Contango Oil & Gas (MCF), down about 11.2% and shares of Whiting USA Trust II (WHZ) down about 10.2% on the day.
